Looking Forward to the Week Ahead
As always, Mercer Transportation has planned a series of special events to honor our contractors during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. From surprise gifts to recognition events, we’re excited to celebrate the incredible work our drivers do every day.
This year, we’ve pulled out all the stops to ensure that our drivers feel celebrated and heard. Starting on Monday, September 16th, we’ll have renowned local pizza chain, Bearno’s delivering some of their delicious pies to our driver’s lounge. On Tuesday, we’ll start our morning with serving donuts at the lounge and have them available all day! Wednesday, Bearno’s will deliver again. On Thursday, we’ll have lunch catered by Food Obsession. On this day, the food will be served by our campus leaders. To finish strong on a hot Friday, we’ll have an Ehrler’s ice cream truck on campus keeping everyone cool and refreshed.
As we look forward to this weeklong celebration, we encourage everyone to take a moment to appreciate the hard work of our nation’s truck drivers. At Mercer, we’re proud to lead the way in showing just how much these essential workers mean to us and to America.
